Founded by Anna-Maria Sommer, SOMMER SWIM is a luxury swimwear label inspired by a chic European summer lifestyle and the female icons from a bygone era who lived it. Our bikinis are crafted from the highest quality Italian Lycra in flattering cuts, unique colours, and designs you’ll be living in for more than one summer.
SOMMER SWIM’s limited-release collections are consciously created to bring you a series of unique looks every season. Our brand ethos is driven by sustainable production, from this we are proud to produce high quality timeless swimwear that can take you from lounging poolside at a beach club in Ibiza one summer, to swimming in the ocean at Sydney’s Bondi Beach the next.
Founder of Sommer Swim, Anna-Maria Sommeris a German ex-model turned designer who initially launched onto the swimwear market in 2016 and her brand has since become a leader in the swimwear industry, pushing boundaries with it’s distinctive Sommer aesthetic. What was initially a passionate hobby has now developed into a close knit team, who can be found working globally under the guidance of Sommer's unique vision.
The influence of Anna-Maria’s nomadic lifestyle is highly visible in her designs and has allowed for her creativity to flourish. Although she spends much of her time travelling between Bali and Australia, Sommer has most recently called the pale sand and crystal-clear waters of Ibiza home over European summer. While the brand has evolved through time, Sommer has remained true to her goal of creating designs that allow women to feel celebrated, sexy, and beautiful.
